10 ships of this type were ordered in the late 1960s as enlarged Karas and designed around the Bazalt anti-ship missile, these ships were delayed a long time as a result of missile development problems.
Only three ships were completed by the time of the collapse of the Soviet Union. Today they are all operational usually as flagships, with plans to refit and update them in the next five to ten years.
This 1:72 scale hull comes with anchor positions, shaft exits, "A" bracket positions and rudder positions moulded in.
2,590mm long and 289mm wide.
