The Steregushchy class are the first stealth Corvette's being built for the Russian Navy, and will replace the ageing Grisha class Corvettes. These ships are designed as large multi role Corvettes for use in Littoral zone operations, engagement of enemy submarines and surface ships, gun support for amphibious landings and anti-aircraft defence.
As Corvettes, these ships are quite large and considered by NATO to be Frigates. Three of these ships are now in commission, with another three building for the Russian Navy, and another two to a modified design being built for the Algerian Navy. Russia plans to build thirty of these ships to spread between her four major fleets.
This 1:72 scale full GRP hull with Anchor positions, shaft exits and "A" bracket positions moulded in.
Hull is 1,453mm long and 180mm wide.
