There are 3 Osumi class LSTs in the Japanese Maritime Self-Defence Force. While JMSDF describes these ships as LSTs, they lack bow doors and the beaching capability that is usually associated with LSTs.
Therefore these ships are more like LSDs (Landing Ship Dock), with their stern door and ramp. These ships are very much the Japanese version of the US Harpers Ferry class LSDs.
This 1:72 scale hull comes with shaft exit positions, rudder position, and anchor positions moulded in.
2,472mm long and 358mm wide.
