Built by Navantia in Ferrol Spain, the design of Canberra and Adelaide are based on the Spanish Juan Carlos 1 LHD (Landing helicopter Dock). Canberra and Adelaide were commissioned in 2016 and are homeported in Sydney harbour at Wooloomooloo.
These ships will give the RAN a multirole capability never before seen in the RAN, they are also the largest ships ever operated by the Australian Navy.
This 1:72 scale hull comes with anchor positions, sponson, propeller pod positions, hull openings and details scribed in.
3,206mm long and 445mm wide.
